We understand that docking a boat can be incredibly stressful, especially if the wind and current aren’t cooperating, you’re not familiar with the area, or you have limited help while docking.

That’s why we believe boaters of all skill levels benefit from tools that make docking safe and easy.

Motor Monkey – Created By Boaters, For Boaters!

Born out of our own frustrations with docking our boats safely and easily, without damaging our motors or scratching our hulls, we wanted a better solution than wrestling with bulky fenders and dangerous dock lines.

Our founder and CEO, Kort Wittich, knows a thing or two about boats. Serving as a Brand Ambassador for Sunsation Boats and having been featured in many boating industry publications, Kort saw firsthand how difficult it was to protect his own outboards, especially while docking stern-to near other boats.

Traditional fenders and spring lines were not reliable, and buoys had the tendency to roll out of position, leaving boats and outboard engine cowlings vulnerable to accidental damage.

We designed Motor Monkey to be simple enough for one person to easily manage, and make it safer for people getting on and off your boat.

We also believe once you dock your boat, you shouldn’t have to come back and worry about re-adjusting your dock lines or fenders every few hours.
